Experience the culture of Montego Bay. This tour starts at the National Museum where you will learn about some of our National Heroes and the history of Reggae music. Next, we will stop at the iconic St. James Parish Church built in 1775. This ageing church is set in a large graveyard featuring tombstones from over 200 years. The church is set out in a classic Greek cross shape.
There are many points of interest in the church, including two monuments by noted 18th century sculptor, John Bacon. One of these is a monument to Rosa Palmer, the former owner of Rose Hall Great House. Lastly, we will take you to some of the highest points in Montego Bay where you can take breathtaking photos of the city and go souvenir shopping.
